Aidan is the medical consultant for the experiment that produced Essence. He seems to have some other connections to it, too, but his motives remain a mystery for now...

Aidan is generally polite and amiable (if slightly sinister), but rarely gets close enough with anyone to consider them a friend--save for his sister, Katherine. He is somewhat eccentric, and his odd appearence often confuses or intimidates people.

He is physically frail and is unable to walk without using crutches.
